Christophe Bailleau est un Français vivant à Bruxelles, Won est Sébastien Llinares, un Toulousain vivant à Paris. L’un et l’autre sont de véritables boulimiques de travail. Christophe Bailleau, artiste multi média de son état, joue également dans le projet Arden (avec aMute, Mitchell Akiyama,...) tandis que Sébastien Llinares s’occupe de son propre label Nowaki et joue dans Electrophönvintage (sur Unique Records). Avec ‘Free Bees Full Of Light’, ils convient l’auditeur à découvrir un lieu singulier construit autour de morceaux instrumentaux dans lesquels les guitares sont au service d’atmosphères ambient et de mélodies mélancoliques. Parfois un piano vient donner une touche dramatico cinématique. Traitements électroniques et enregistrements d’ambiances ont une importance prépondérante: tantôt timides et discrets, tantôt occupant pendant plusieurs secondes un plus large spectre. Christophe Bailleau is a frenchman living in Bruxelles. Sébastien Llinares from Toulouse but living in Paris. Both are workaholic artists. Christophe Bailleau is an all-round media artist also playing in Arden (with aMute, Mitchell Akiyama,...) while Sébastien Llinares is running the Nowaki label and playing with Electrophönvintage (on Unique Records).With ‘Free Bees Full Of Light” they invite us to an unique place built around slow instrumental tracks where guitars serve ambient atmospheres and melancholic melodies. Sometimes a piano comes to add a cinematic drama touch. Electronic treatments and fieldrecordings are important in the album: sometimes these sounds are shy and discreet, sometimes its take all the musical spectrum for a few seconds and if you listen in a headphone you will hear the bees, and if you close your eyes you will see their light...

Le traditionnel jeu entre guitare planante et transformations électroniques réunit beaucoup d’adeptes. Mais sans se noyer dans les courants facile des longue note de guitare, Christophe Bailleau et Won donnent, avec respect des respirations, de belle pièces.
