RUACUTANE, c'est la rencontre fin 2003 de jérémie (guitare et chant), xavier (clavier) et sandra (voix). A ces trois là, viendront s'ajouter renaud à la batterie et nicolas à la contrebasse.
RUACUTANE, c'est une pop atmosphérique mâtinée d'accents électros, juste ce qu'il faut: le meilleur des deux mondes.
RUACUTANE, ce sont des mélodies bien ficelées posées sur deux voix envoûtantes. Deux voix complémentaires, jamais dans l'excès, qui se marient harmonieusement ou s'affrontent sans pour autant se déchirer...
RUACUTANE, c'est un savant mélange d'influences (grandaddy, yo la tengo, overhead, the notwist,...) auxquelles sont intégrés les désirs et les envies des membres du groupe ("vous m'ajouter un peu de jazz ici pour moi", "un peu de pop par là pour moi", "mmmmhh, moi j'aime bien de l'électro quand même...")
Au final, cela nous donne un Ruacutane très frais, sincère, qui ne cherche pas à coller à un style mais avant tout à faire plaiisr et à se faire plaisir.
RUACUTANE ne se trouve pas en pharmacie et surtout c'est à consommer sans modération !

RUACUTANE, who’ve been working since the end of 2003 are jérémie (guitar and vocals), xavier (keys and programming) and sandra (vocals). nicholas on stand-up bass and renaud on the drums will then join these three.
RUACUTANE are the best of both worlds : a mixture of atmospheric pop with accents of electro.
RUACUTANE, create well written charming melodies which work with the two voices of the group, never overstretching the vocal range, yet harmoniously complementing each other.
RUACUTANE are a savvy mixture of influences (Grandaddy, Yo la tengo, Overhead, The Notwist…) to which the personal tastes and influences of each band member are added (adding a bit of jazz for one member, a bit of pop for another).
RUACUTANE are therefore a fresh group who don’t want to conform to a specific style but rather prefer to create music they like for others to enjoy.
RUACUTANE aren’t in the pharmacy but can be appreciated without risk of an overdose.

RUACUTANE staat voor de ontmoeting eind 2003 tussen jérémie (guitaar & zang), xavier (keys & programming) en sandra (stem). later komen daar renaud aan de drums en nicholas aan de contrabas bij.
RUACUTANE staat voor atmosferische pop met electro accenten, een juiste mix, het beste van twee werelden.
RUACUTANE staat voor goed in mekaar gestoken melodieën, gedragen door twee onweerstaanbare stemmen. twee stemmen die mekaar aanvullen, harmonieus maar nooit buitensporig
of tegen mekaar ingaand zonder daarom in conflict te komen…
RUACUTANE staat voor een knappe mengeling van invloeden (Grandaddy, Yo la tengo, Overhead, The Notwist...)waarin de wensen en verlangens van de groepsleden hun plaats vinden ("hier voor mij een beetje jazz bij", "daar wat meer pop vind ik ", "MMmmhh, ik vind die electro best wel ok…").
het eindresultaat is een uiterst frisse en eerlijke ruacutane die zich geen stijl wil eigen maken maar in de eerste plaats op zoek is plezier te verschaffen en te beleven.
RUACUTANE is niet te koop bij de apotheker en dient zonder enige mate geconsumeerd te worden
