angélica negrón est une jeune compositrice de san juan, puerto rico. Très tôt, elle suivi une formation en piano et en violon au conservatoire de musique de puerto rico. Tout en continuant son parcours scolaire, elle s'intéresse à d'autres instruments tels que harpe, cello et accordéon avant d'étudier l'écriture de composition. A 24 ans, avec quatre d'années de composition derrière elle, angélica continue ses études de violon. Elle est membre du trio electro-acoustique balún dans lequel elle chante, joue du violon, clavier, toy piano, accordéon et réalise des programmations.
En octobre 2005, elle sort son premier album solo sous le nom de arturo en el barco (www.arturoenelbarco.tk) qui consiste en travaux electro-acoustiques basés sur une exploration sonore autour du piano.
Angélica réalise également des oeuvres pour des documentaires, des séries tv et d'animation ainsi que pour des orchestres symphoniques.

angélica negrón is a young composer from san juan, puerto rico. She received an early formation in piano and violin at the conservatory of music of puerto rico. While pursuing a bachellor's degree in the aforementioned conservatory she became more interested in other instruments such as the harp, cello and accordion before finally deciding to study composition formally. She is currently 24 years old and on her fourth year of composition as well as continuing her violin studies. She’s part of the electro-acoustic pop trio balún where she does the vocals, some of the programming and also plays the violin, keyboards, toy piano and accordion.
October 2005 is the release of her first solo album under the name of arturo en el barco (www.arturoenelbarco.tk) which consists of electro-acoustic works based on sound explorations inside and outside the piano.
She has also scored various cinematographic works such as documentaries, tv series, animation short, pieces for symphonic orchestras.
